The IEDTA Conference will be held on the beautiful University of British Columbia campus, where spectacular mountain and ocean views, walks through the Pacific Spirit Forest, and unique West-coast beaches are only steps away from the conference and accommodation venues.

The conference events are distributed in three buildings on campus and are within easy walking distance of each other. The conference lecture and presentations are in the Hebb Theatre with state of the art technology. The Welcome Reception and Networking Wine-tasting is at the Sage Bistro (overlooking the beautiful rose gardens and views to the majestic North Shore Mountains and English Bay), while the Gala Dinner and Dance will be at the Ponderosa Building (close to the Marine Drive Tower Residences). A campus map is available for download. The natural beauty of the campus, coupled with the spectacular views of the Pacific ocean and Burrard Inlet, the mountains and the emerald-like heart of downtown Vancouver will only enhance the conference experience.

The university campus itself has something to offer for every delegate. Visitors to the campus are able to enjoy athletic facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, a spacious gym and field areas, a variety of shops and services, and restaurants and food providers to tempt any appetite. The campus occupies the western point of the city, in an area called Point Grey. The campus adjoins the largest green space in the City of Vancouver, Pacific Spirit Regional Park. The 763 hectare park is popular for its cycling and running trails, and allows its visitors a stunning window into the lush forest environment that makes up much of Vancouver 's surrounding areas.

All conference sites, facilities, and accommodations are wheelchair accessible.

More information on UBC can be found on their website.
