21 hours of continuing education credit are now available for licensed psychologists (APA), and MFTs and LCSWs (California).
 
A 21 hours of continuing education certificate for Certified Counselors is also available.
 
Conference participants are asked to read the following information carefully, on an individual basis, to determine whether the purchase of a continuing certificate is useful or necessary.
 
Fee: $35.00 CDN for continuing education certificates for psychologists, MFTs and LCSWs. Please purchase your certificate on-line at  payment , or by contacting Diane Anderson at 1-888-901-9997.

Deadline: Participants needing Continuing Education Certificates must purchase them by July 7, 2010.

A Certificate of Completion will also be given to each participant, which may adequately serve the need for some participants of proof of Conference attendance (see below).
 
Additional continuing education details are as follows:

Psychologists: IEDTA is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. IEDTA maintains responsibility for the program and its content. This course is approved for 21 hours of continuing education hours. These hours may or may not be accepted by other agencies depending on reciprocity arrangements with APA.

Certified Counselors: This program has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors. (IEDTA, #SP-1787). Check with your board to determine whether or not NBCC is accepted.

It is the responsibility of Conference participants who purchase continuing education certificates to ascertain they meet the requirements of their own licensing/certification agencies/boards.

IEDTA has applied for continuing education credit for the NASW for social workers - credits pending.
