Description: |
Day one of this training/seminar will focus on mobilization of will to help patients overcome defenses, face feelings and develop compassion for the rejected parts of themselves. Videotape vignettes will illustrate the process that helps patients develop affect tolerance, undo irrational shame and guilt, and experience emotional closeness. Day two attendees will watch video of cases by advanced trainees in ISTDP, and observe their supervision by Susan Warshow. |
